Roberta Baskin has spent more than 30 years as an awarding-winning investigative reporter with a mission to expose corporate misconduct. Five years ago she shifted her focus to the opposite mission by creating the AIM2Flourish platform, exposing untold stories about exemplary corporate conduct across the globe helping to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
AIM2Flourish.com was launched at Case Western Reserve University to showcase innovation stories written by business school students in more than 80 countries. These stories teach the UN’s SDGs to the world’s next generation of business leaders. Last year Real Leaders Magazine honored her among its “100 Visionary Leaders.” During her tenure, Roberta served as the key fundraiser, strategist, public speaker, and global education promoter. The platform now showcases more than 2,100 innovation stories linked to the Global Goals.
At the heart of the Global Goals is Goal #13: Climate Action, which led to Roberta’s current Board of Directors position for the Earth’s Call Fund. In this role she secured a partnership with the prestigious MacArthur Foundation’s new Lever for Change initiative where she brokered a $50-million donation to fund bold climate solutions to the climate crisis.
Roberta’s storied career has earned her more than 75 journalism awards, including duPont Columbia Awards, Peabody Awards, and multiple Emmys. As a result of her investigations, corporate operations improved for dozens of health and safety products and practices.
