Andrea Gaume is an Entrepreneur, passionate about nature and sustainable communities. With a Bachelor degree in Finance and a Masters degree in Innovation and business development (ITESM), Andrea currently leads Ecology Project International (EPI) in México. EPI educate, inspire and empower youth to action through immersive experiences with nature and science. EPI envisions environmentally literate communities contributing to create a vibrant, sustainable future.

Prior to her work at EPI, Andrea worked in the microfinance and alternative finance sector in Mexico and as consultant and mentor to university and small bussineses entrepreneurs, rural community projects and family businesses, among others, accumulating more than 3000 hours in accompaniment and consulting.

Andrea has always has been deeply involved in her community, volunteering with local foundations that support scholarships, nutrition and other educational programs for underprivileged children. Since July 2015 she has been President of FANLAP, a non-profit organization that helps children from La Paz. Also very active in arts, Andrea is a visual artist and children’s writer.
