Lily Yang (Li Yang in Chinese), is Organization & Community Development Director for Genesis Beijing. Her role focuses on company culture, organizational development and Genesis Community Development.

Genesis Beijing is a social business project that redirects profits back into the culture and educational aspects of the business. It is designed to help reset priorities, helping people to explore their identity beyond making a living, and re-find the social and family ties that make us whole. It is the intention of Genesis Beijing to (as far as possible) invite the city in – the site will serve the neighbourhood, community members, and people across the city.

Lily is passionate about sparking positive change and supporting individual and organization evolution. Before starting with for Genesis Beijing, Lily worked for Motorola, Oracle, Goldwind and Janssen. She holds Tsinghua’s MBA degree and has been involved in several projects with U.lab China.
