Rachel Ji (Hanbin Ji in Chinese), Human Resources VP of Bertelsmann China Corporate Center, and a member of Bertelsmann Management Representative Committee. Before that, she was a Public Relations practitioner working for Burson-Marsteller. She holds HEC’s EMBA degree.
The organization she works for has an entrepreneurial culture which has retained her for 18 years. She has experienced HR practices in different businesses from startup to liquidation, transforming to growing, small to large size, operational to venture capital. She enables individuals by consulting, coaching and mentoring, on the basis of accepting dynamics and emotion. She also facilitates continuous conversations among individuals and within the team(s), to reach alignment from why, what to how. Rachel’s connection with Academy of Systems Change started from a leadership program she introduced to the organization in 2016, when she met Yunlan Ni, one of the first cohort fellows of the Academy. She is convinced of the approach, both rational and emotional, for multi-dimensional systems change. Rachel wants to be part of the change force for positive growth of her own, surrounding people, organization and society.
